How many people do hallucinogens?
In 2007 3.1% of 8th graders had done hallucinogens in their lifetime, 6.4% in 10th grade, and 8.4% in 12th grade.
In 2008 3.3% of 8th grades had done hallucinogens in their lifetime, 5.5% in 10th grade, and 8.7% in 12th grade.
Keep in mind this includes LSD, PCP, Mescaline, Psilocybin/Psilocin, and MDMA.
In 2006 10.6% of all college students had done Hallucinogens in their lifetime and 17.2% of all young adults had done it.
In 2007 9.1% of all college students had done Hallucinogens in their lifetime and 16% of all young adults had done it.
That's a lot of people making bad choices!
In 2004 13.3% of state prisoners and 11.9% of federal prisoners were taking hallucinogens regularly.
Also in 2004 32.9% of state prisoners and 25.9% of federal prisoners had taken hallucinogens in their lifetime.
